Prior to every new investment, a detailed analysis is performed. Industry trends and outlook, the market position, the strengths and weaknesses of the target company are mapped. The potential for growth and value enhancement is identified prior to the investment. KeBeK goes beyond the obvious and enters into dialogue with management and the current owners, but also with industry specialists.

The entry of KeBeK is often a turning point for a company. A strategic plan is developed in close co-operation with management. In some companies the main focus is further growth, stand-alone or through acquisitions, whilst in other companies the main focus will be on operational and organizational improvements. In many cases, a combination of different actions is appropriate.

Creating shareholder value which results from sustainable growth, operational and organizational improvements, or strategic reorientation takes time. Therefore, KeBeK aims to reap the benefits of its investment only after 5 to 7 years, and then look for a suitable new owner.
